High Sheriff Youth Awards Annual Celebration 2013

Over 70 young people representing youth projects from across Surrey celebrated the grants they have received from the High Sheriff Youth Awards (HSYA) scheme at a special county Showcase Evening on March 13. Joined by their supporters and watched by Surrey leaders, representatives of 13 projects explained to invited guests and peers how HSYA funding is helping them to get involved in innovative activities that really do make communities in Surrey safer. In the past year, £53,000 funding from HSYA has been awarded to a total of 50 projects.

The HYSA would like to thank ExxonMobil UK for generously hosting the event at its Leatherhead head office.
