We make it simple for you to apply for funding. Fill in the application form then save it and attach the saved copy together with the latest copy of your accounts and any other extra information or photos to an email to

We welcome the applications either from an adult who is helping the young people to plan, fund and deliver the project or from one or more of the young people themselves. The HSYA Privacy and Data Protection Policy can be found here. Applicants must be able to confirm that they have an extant Safeguarding Policy. For information the HSYA Safeguarding Policy can be found here. By submitting an online application the applicant gives consent for personal data to be held for the purpose of assessing whether an applicant is to be recommended to receive a grant and for receiving reports from time to time during or on termination of the period of a grant award.

When we receive your completed form, we check that the project appears to meet what we’re looking for. If it does, then we need to see your project at first hand. To find out how the assessment works, click here.

Applications once assessed are reviewed by a Panel who meet in February, May, July and October each year.
